Case Studies in Action:

Marucci Sports - Collegiate Equipment & Gear Partnerships

Marucci’s first NCAA Division I team partnership was publicly unveiled in July 2018, when LSU Baseball signed on as the brand’s first collegiate partner. On July 26, 2018, LSU announced that Marucci would become the exclusive provider of bats, gloves, catcher’s gear, bags, and protective equipment; the formal press release went out on July 30, 2018

Since then, Marucci has expanded its footprint and now sponsors: 39 NCAA Division I teams, 14 NCAA Division II teams, 6 NCAA Division III teams, 5 NAIA schools, and 14 NJCAA teams.

Warstic × Mizzou Baseball Partnership

Mizzou Baseball serves as Warstic’s first collegiate team partner in a collaboration that goes beyond equipment supply. The Tigers utilize Warstic’s baseball bats, batting gloves, fielding gloves, and protective gear both on and off the field. This partnership also includes strategic content collaborations - highlighting the brand through social media posts. Together, Mizzou Baseball and Warstic are amplifying player performance and fan engagement while showcasing an innovative approach to collegiate sports partnerships.

Thorne HealthTech - Collegiate Nutrition Partnerships

Thorne HealthTech has entered a multi-year official partnership with The Citadel (SC), serving as their Official Performance Nutrition Partner beginning in September 2022.

Under the agreement, Thorne supplies protein, amino acids, vitamins, and other supplements to support recovery and peak athletic performance for cadet-athletes across all sports and collaborates with the Citadel’s strength & conditioning staff on fueling station programming.

Clean Eatz - College Town Meal & NIL Collaborations

Clean Eatz operates healthy meal-prep cafés in several college towns. Although formal deals with entire athletic departments haven’t been widely publicized, it’s common for Clean Eatz franchises near universities to partner directly with student-athletes via NIL arrangements (meal-for-post exchanges, discount codes, UGC, etc.) as noted in small business case studies.

For example, one operator in a D1 college town provided meals in exchange for social media posts - a model likely mirrored by Clean Eatz locations in markets with strong college presence.

From discovery to execution, we help brands navigate every stage of the athlete partnership process - driving meaningful engagement and measurable results. Let AMAZE be your conduit to the next generation of athlete-driven brand success.
